“The Second Half” is a cheerful and exceptionally light natural Pet-Nat (naturally sparkling wine) from Mirco Mariotti’s farm in the Emilia-Romagna region. This wine is made from 100% rare local Famoso grapes, which are extremely aromatic. The wine has an alcohol content of just 9.5%, making it ideal for a long evening. It is produced using the Pet-Nat method, unfiltered and with minimal intervention.
The taste? The wine is dry, aromatic, and bursting with fruitiness. It is dominated by notes of candied apricot, sorbet, and flowers, reminiscent of the aromatic Malvasia grape. It is a fun, refreshing, and unpretentious wine with fine bubbles.
How to serve? Serve well chilled (around 8–10 °C). It is the perfect aperitif or party wine that does not require a special occasion. It goes well with light snacks or Asian cuisine.
