Pinot Gris Landwein
3 in stock
Raspini Pinot Gris comes from the Kaiserstuhl region of Germany, famous for its volcanic soil. Everything is done by hand at the family micro-winery – the wine is naturally fermented and aged in old oak barrels (barrique) to gain depth and character, but remains fresh. It is not filtered or refined.
Taste? The wine is dry, structured and full of character. It is dominated by notes of ripe pears and yellow apples, complemented by hints of spices and a bright volcanic minerality. It is a rich and deep white wine with a perfectly balanced, lively acidity.
How to serve? Serve chilled (about 10-12 °C) in a wine glass. Due to its structure, this is a great gastronomic wine. Pair with poultry, roasted vegetables, veal or even tender meat dishes.
