“In 1976, Giorgio Mariotti created a unique type of wine called “”wines of the sands”” using varieties like the Fortana grape and Uva d’Oro, which grow in the sandy coastal soils of Ferrara. Today, his son Mirco Mariotti continues the legacy of crafting these exquisite wines.
Mirco has inherited his father’s passion for winemaking and has preserved the area’s traditional methods while also introducing new innovations. He carefully tends to the vineyards, which are like living archives, showcasing a variety of strains that are over a hundred years old.

This Pet Nat sparkling wine is made with Albanella grapes, which is unusual as these grapes are pretty much exclusively found the Marche region of Italy! Perhaps this is why this pet nat is called FAR?
