Description

Las Cañas is a wine that seeks to express the essence of the Mediterranean: bright sun and salty breeze. It is a natural wine project from Andalusia (Málaga) to revive old vineyards. The wine is made from 100% aromatic Muscat of Alexandria grapes, grown organically on sandy soil. Part of the wine was macerated (stored) with the skins for 1-2 weeks, which gave it the character of orange wine. It is bottled unfiltered and without added sulfites.

Taste? The wine is dry, aromatic and has a pleasant texture. The aroma is dominated by ripe peaches, orange peel and notes of wild herbs (thyme). The maceration gives it a light structure (reminiscent of tea) and the aftertaste is long, with a wonderful minerality and a salty sensation reminiscent of the sea.

How to serve? Serve chilled (around 10-12°C) in a wine glass. Due to its aroma and structure, it is an excellent gastronomic wine. Pair with seafood, grilled fish, poultry or vegetable snacks (tapas).
