Lammidia – Flamingo 2022

Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani have been friends since they were three years old, and although they took different roads at times, they found each other again during college. Ever since, they began their journey into the world of wine. In Central Abruzzo, Italy, their wines are simply made with spontaneously fermented grapes. They do not add any further substances, nor carry out clarifications and filtrations. Any residues are a sign of the naturalness and genuineness, necessary to keep their vivacious wines always alive. The name comes from the dialect Lammidia , the ´ mmidia , the envy , the evil eye . In the peasant tradition veins removed with a prayer ritual to eliminate precisely lammidia of which even the wine could suffer. The wines are simply made with naturally fermented grapes.

Flamingo is a light red wine, made with a field blend of various grapes and is meant to be bitter and reminiscent of Cranberries, with low alcohol content of just 10.5% ideal for afternoon sips!
