Organic from the 1989 and natural producers since 2012. The farm was born in 1978 recovering an abandoned land. A group of young people started cleaning fields from the bushes with goats. Then seeds ancient cereals for pasta and bread, legumes. Cows and pigs to fertilize the soil. And then beekeeping and vines. Year after year new people arrive and expert one go. Right now we are mainly young people supported by one last “expert” of the first generation. We live in our land, we love it, we share it, we take care of it.
Rosé wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, aged in amphora. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, grown on clayey soil. The grapes are hand-harvested early to give the wine more acidity. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, direct pressing of the grapes, and aging in used barrels for 4 months.
