Description

Clos Lentiscus is one of the wildest and most authentic biodynamic farms in the Penedès region (Catalonia), located in the Garraf mountain range, right next to the Mediterranean Sea. This sparkling wine is made from 100% rare and incredibly aromatic local Malvasia de Sitges grapes. The wine is made using traditional methods (like champagne), aged with yeast for about 30 months and bottled as Brut Nature (absolutely dry, no added sugar) and without any added sulfites.

The taste? The wine is absolutely dry, but bursting with aromas. It is dominated by white flowers (orange blossoms), Mediterranean herbs (fennel, rosemary) and ripe stone fruits (apricots). The finish is long, with a fantastic sensation of sea salt (salty) and limestone minerality typical of the Garafo region.

How to serve? Serve well chilled (around 8-10 °C) in a wine glass. It is a perfect aperitif, but its saltiness and structure make it a fantastic gastronomic wine. Pair with seafood (oysters, shrimp), grilled fish, or even poultry.
