Description

Aldo Viola is one of Sicily’s natural wine masters, working biodynamically near the town of Alcamo. Biancoviola is his pure interpretation of white wine, made from 100% local Grillo grapes. The wine is produced with the aim of preserving maximum freshness: it is fermented and aged in steel tanks. The wine is bottled unfiltered and without any added sulfites.

The taste? The wine is dry, crisp, and incredibly refreshing. It is dominated by notes of white peaches, citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit), and white flowers. The finish is long, with a wonderful sensation of saltiness and minerality reminiscent of a sea breeze.

How to serve? Serve well chilled (around 8–10 °C) in a wine glass. It is the perfect aperitif. Its saltiness and freshness make it an ideal accompaniment to seafood (oysters, shrimp), light fish dishes, or fresh salads.
